Option #2: Normative Leadership Theory and Leadership Styles
Prepare a paper in which you summarize each of the five normative leadership theory leadership styles (“decide, consult individually, consult group, facilitate, and delegate” [Lussier & Achua, 2015, p. 123]) and provide an example of a real or hypothetical project situation in which the project manager uses the leadership style.
A separate project example must be provided to support the discussion of each leadership style. Each example must include a specification of the phase of the project life cycle to which it applies.
Your paper must include the following, titled sections:
- Introduction
- Decide Leadership Style
- Consult Individually Leadership Style
- Consult Group Leadership Style
- Facilitate Leadership Style
- Delegate Leadership Style
- Conclusion
- References
Your paper should be 4-5 pages in length and conform to CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements. Include at least two scholarly references in addition to the course textbooks. The CSU-Global Library is a good place to find these references.
