For at least three days keep a log of all of your spending. If you get a coffee, gas, anything….log it. You spend it, you write it down. At the end of the three days calculate how much you spent on incidental items and determine your average daily spending–then multiple that number by 30. John had $30 a month for incidentals (soap, shampoo, cigarettes). How would you do if you had John’s budget? Write a reflection on how John’s lack of money contributed to his problems.
