final paper.  Also find attached week 2s paper (same  sex marriage) for your convenience.  Week 6 (capstone paper) is due 5/23/14.  Just providing details to give
you a jumpstart on the final as there is no written> assignment for week 5.  As always thanks for all you do.

Writing the Final Paper

The Final Paper:

Must be ten to fifteen double-spaced pages in length, and formatted according to APA style.

Must include a title page with the following:

Title of paper

Student’s name

Course name and number

Instructor’s name

Date submitted

Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.

Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.

Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.

Must use at least three scholarly sources, including a minimum of one from the school library.

Must document all sources in APA style.

Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style

Public Policy Paper Proposal

Review the Final Assignment in Week 6 of the course and then, develop a two-page, APA-style paper in which you propose the topic and major elements defining your final Public Policy paper.  This is your chance to get you topic approved by your instructor.  Your Public Policy Proposal paper will be written in four parts:

Identification and explanation of the topic including a problem statement

The explanation of the research process; that is, how will the research be conducted

A discussion of relevant literature appropriate to the issues at hand

An abbreviated reference list (a minimum of three sources, at least one from the ProQuest electronic database).
