Your Journal should be a reaction to “Hidden Culture.” Do not summarize this Essay. Just consider the Essay, roll it around in your mind, and react to connections that you see within your major . Or in other words, think how this essay connects with issues/situations within your major or your job/role as you see the future. In my opinion, I don’t believe in issues of hidden culture and making such assumptions would be so farfetched. This is not to say that hidden culture does not actually exist in some parts of the world but rather to say that l do not believe in instances where people’s cultures should not be explicit. Hall’s visit to Japan was an epic experience and not a very good one in my opinion as he explains it as mystifying.
Having a hotel management move you from one room to another without your consent is absurd. It wouldn’t matter if my cultural practices allows it or doesn’t allow it. I would not appreciate it finding my reserved room occupied by another person without any notification being made to me. This happens…..
