Identify four jobs, two that appear to be relatively simple and two that appear to be much more complex. For each job, identify as many potential leadership substitutes and neutralizers as possible. Now, consider the following questions:

To what extent did your own experiences affect how you performed this exercise?
Are there some jobs for which there are no substitutes for leadership? Provide examples.
Should managers actively seek substitutes for leadership? Why or why not?

Requirements:

Use of proper APA formatting and citations. If supporting evidence from outside resources is used those must be properly cited. A minimum of 3 – 5 sources (excluding the course textbook) from scholarly articles or business periodicals is required.
