In this assignment, you will analyze the impact of your organization’s perspective on multiculturalism and diversity. You will describe how the organization’s culture reflects ethical considerations, collaboration and demographic shifts.
In this assignment, you must:
Summarize the organization’s vision of multiculturalism and diversity.
Identify organizational initiatives to ensure employees are culturally competent.
Examine current organizational policies that reflect multiculturalism and diversity.
Evaluate how cultural competence influences the clinical decision-making within the organization related to:
Ethical considerations
Collaboration with other stakeholders
Shifts in the composition and character of patient populations
Provide a reflection of your personal journey toward cultural competence and how the organization supports staff development on the topic of multiculturalism and diversity in the workplace.
For this assignment you will create a PowerPoint presentation that:
Is a minimum of 10 slides in length (excluding title page and references);
Is supported with a minimum of four scholarly, peer-reviewed sources external to those assigned for this unit;
Follows the conventions of Standard English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.);
Is well ordered, logical, and unified, as well as original and insightful;
Displays superior content, organization, style, and mechanics;
Uses APA 7th edition style and format.
Is supported with speaker notes in the notes section of each slide and audio delivery (voice-over) to explain each slide.
