You are to take on the role of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director. Your task is to create a short PowerPoint® presentation about a chronic or infectious disease in the global context as an introduction for new CDC recruits.
You will submit a short presentation with speaker notes to the dropbox by the due date. Students will deliver the presentation during Seminar as outlined by the instructor.
In this presentation, you should summarize the disease, present key measures of the global burden of the disease, and outline risk factors and determinants of health related to the disease. Analyze the global distribution of this disease: Where is it most prevalent and why? Include a visual (map, chart, or table) to highlight this information.
