Visuals and Infographics for a Social Media Campaign

Design appropriate visuals for inclusion on the website and/or in videos and social media posts. You must create three different types of visuals. As with the Web pages and video, the graphical content developed here should help \”bend attitudes.\” The visuals should contribute to or correspond to the overall message of the campaign and should be attractive. It would help to incorporate any catch phrases you have developed for your campaign and/or your campaign\’s hashtag. Do the following:

Create a logo for the social media campaign. Visuals should adhere to good visual design and good rhetorical design, and it should be integrated with the theme of your campaign. (See the Technology Tools Guide for info on how to create a logo.)

Using concepts from this course, provide a 250-500-word rationale for the logo design decisions that were made.

Create an infographic. Infographics should also adhere to good visual design and rhetorical design, and should include added elements that are informative and persuasive. Your infographic should strike a balance between typical features of this genre/sub-genre and adapting the genre to meet the needs for your particular campaign. (See the Technology Tools Guide for info on how to create an infographic.)

Using concepts from this course, provide a 250-500-word rationale for the infographic design decisions that were made.

Create a picture or other visual to be used on social media. Visuals should adhere to good visual design and good rhetorical design to further the interests of your campaign.

Remember to think about your audience(s) and the attitude(s) you would like to foster. (See the Technology Tools Guide for info on how to create other visuals.)
