For this week’s second assignment, you will write a 1-2 page essay explaining the various organizational structures of a gang. Be sure to address all prompts and cite your sources in APA format. This is worth 50 points, so be thorough and give your best effort.

Underestimating the lure and power of gangs can be dangerous for jurisdictions that do not currently have a gang presence. Gang structure, organization, and hierarchy depend on several factors as detailed by Delaney (2013). Please write a 1-2 page paper (not including title and reference pages) that addresses the following:

- Explain the difference(s) among the many gang organizations.
- Explore how gang size factors into organization and hierarchy.
- Compare and contrast local, regional and super-sized gangs and how law enforcement deals with each.

Cite properly per APA in-text and reference list protocols.
