She walked through the meadow really fast; almost as if she was running. Stridulating sounds from dozens of crickets filled the air. Occasionally a mouse would be spotted crossing the fading pathway at lightning speed before disappearing over a bush that positioned itself conveniently for that purpose. The wind picked up dead grasses up the air and died, and picked up again and died. The sun was waving goodbye…..
