As explained by Guffey & Almonte (2009), there are a number of reasons that explain why a person writing a message should wait before beginning the revision process. Firstly, engaging in the revision process before finalizing the first draft makes it difficult for the writer to comprehend the specific errors that require being rectified. This happens mostly when one feels that whatever he or she has drafted is the correct thing.
