After watching this video on shock incarceration; Are there are perceived benefits to this type of program not covered in the video and what is your opinion as to the legitimacy of the inmates’ life changes if knowing their sentence will be dramatically reduced?

i need also short respond to this post(75-100 words)—“This video does a good job or explaining what shock incarceration is and how it works within a correctional institution. I find this whole video interesting, as those who are committing non-violet crimes can go into a program like this. It clearly isn’t a fun program to go into, but neither is prison. At least this way they are being taught discipline. I think some benefits of having something like this would be that there are less inmates in an actual prison due to the fact that they are going to these shock programs and if these programs are working well than the likelihood of them reoffending and serving prison time is less. I truly believe that the inmates that change are the ones that do change. There are a few who don’t take this kind of thing serious and end up reoffending, unfortunately.”
