What I need is a 300 to 400 word essay/speech(disregard 750 to 1050 word count below) on the 3 topics I have highlighted below in BLUE. There is more to this speech but this is my part to do(so no intro or conclusion), with 3 references. Basically I am the Speaker of the House delivering a speech to amateur reporters who are unfamiliar with economics. Be sure to hit the requirements I have highlighted below in BROWN. I also need a 4 power point slide presentation to go with this. It must be done by 8:00AM Monday morning 11-11-2013.
Assume that you have been appointed as the Speaker of the House. You must deliver a speech about the current state of the U.S. macroeconomy to a number of amateur reporters who are unfamiliar with economics.
Integrate a summary of your answers to the following questions and cite external research to further justify your facts:
• What happens when there is a surplus of imports brought into the U.S.? Cite a specific example of a product with an import surplus, and the impact that has on the U.S. businesses and consumers involved.
• What are the effects of international trade to GDP, domestic markets and university students?
• How do government choices in regards to tariffs and quotas affect international relations and trade?

Surplus of imports in a country has both negative and positive effects to the economy. Consumers will benefit from the surplus since the products involved will become cheaper. For instance, the U.S. imports many vehicles from Japan. If the imported vehicles become excess, businesses will have to sell them at lower prices so that they can order new models………………………
