In today’s life due to technology improvements and most people highly seeking help from the internet whenever they need to know something is increasing the chances of not only losing our thought or ability to think as an individual but is also posing risk to loss of culture in general. Therefore, I agree that devaluation of contemplative thought is a loss not only for us as individuals but also for our culture. For example we see according to a technical writer by name Nicholas carr, he says before he started relying on internet he was able to read and concentrate for long hours during his university life (Smith, 2001). But after he started relying on internet for everything he started to suffer….
