According to Scott Fitzgerald, just as Gatsby’s dream is over, so is America’s dream. Gatsby’s love to Daisy made him do many things which made him look “great” among his friends. He threw parties every Saturday and lived an expensive life spending a lot of money every day just to win Daisy’s love.
