Introduction
According to Fitzgerald, The American dream is a hollow vision. They became hollow mostly because they are based on material temporality. This is contrary to something really and that lasts for a longer time and hence the hollowness. The society is divided according to social classes. The Butchan, East egg and the West eggs live on different places. The Butchans are socialites but do not lead graceful lives. Gatsby corrupts his idea of the American dream by trying to buy acceptance into a society that would not accept him in……………….
