Synthesize the research, documentation, and analysis including:
An evaluation of new concepts and trends in IT and an explanation of the organizational challenge and your initial rationale for how the chosen IT advance could address the challenge.
A synthesis of internal and external risks as well as your findings from the analysis described above.
Evidence and the financial justification for introducing the IT advance in the organization as a solution to the challenge.
An assessment of how the IT advance would or would not optimize the solution to the challenge based on the COBIT business criteria.
An analysis of technology (IT) management concepts, including:
Risk.
Financial impact.
Alignment of an IT advance with business goals.
An enterprise architecture (EA) framework of preference and description of how it will be implemented within the organization of choice, analyzing the applicable IT governance explaining its use in practical terms.
Selection from maturity models and frameworks to illustrate applicability to the package of technologies and the management of those technologies within the organization of choice.
Propose a final recommendation for a go or no-go decision from management on introducing the IT advance in the organization.
If your recommendation is a no-go, describe what would be necessary to make a go decision feasible. Consider the following questions:
What technological advances might permit a go decision that are not yet ready for use?
What are the weaknesses or gaps in the current situation that prevent a go decision?
What resources would be necessary to enable a go decision?
How could a solution to the challenge or issue be optimized?
