I agree with your post when you mentioned that an effective tool of engaging sustainability initiatives is providing clear objectives and transparent communication. What do you think is the best way to implement and share new goals with the entire organization? You mentioned a third tool of seeking consultants to guide through the changes. However, what are your thoughts on the company developing a Sustainable Initiative Team? I would start with a group called the Green Team that could lead the companies’ objectives. According to UCF (2021), energy management teams can train and measure the initiatives. In fact, the organization can foster an incentive program that rewards behaviors that are tied to the sustainable initiatives.
