Structural organization of the human body
You have been asked to speak to a group of high school biology students about the Structural organization of the human body. You start by explaining the chemical level, you then move on to the cellular level. You show a power point on the tissue level. You get to the organ level and that\’s when the questions begin. Your audience is very interested to learn that cells make tissues and tissues make organs. You ask them to break up into groups and you assign them a specific organ to become more familiar with (there are 79 of them so there are plenty to go around!).
Select an organ that your classmates have not chosen and explain what type of tissue the organ is made of.
What body system does this organ go with?
How does it work with other systems to maintain a properly working healthy body?
Choose one condition/illness that could occur with that organ that would cause the body to not function properly.
Discussion Board Requirements
Responses can be addressed to both your initial thread and other threads but must be:
Your own words (no copy and paste)
Unique (no repeating something you already said)
Substantial in nature, which means there must be some meat to the reply, not something like: “Good job, Kate, your post is excellent.” A substantial post will do one of the following:
Extend the conversation deeper
Challenge the post being responded to, or
Take the conversation on a career-relevant tangent
Remember that part of the discussion grade is submitting on time and using proper grammar, spelling, etc. You\’re training to be a professional—write like it!
