As early as 550 B. C letters were used as a means of communication. A horse rider was used as the messenger.
Then came the invention of a telegraph in 1792 that allowed faster communication of messages but the messages were shorter.
In 1890 and 1891 the telephone and radio were invented respectively.
But it is the invention of the computer in 1940s that would mark the path of creation of faster and more convenient ways of communication.
The first social media platform was created in 1997 and it was known as Six Degrees.
More social media platforms were created and 2006 saw the whole world start to experience two of the most famous social media platforms. Facebook and Twitter…………………………..
