ABSTRACT

It has been established that, Chlamydia trachomatis infections in the context of extreme poverty that has vested Africa for a long time may trigger trachoma. Since the probabilities of C. trachomatis eye infections in Africa have for along time not been clearly understood, this research seeks to determine if C, trachomatis is indeed present in the conjunctiva of children living in nations in Africa. The research was based on Sudan and Tanzania where trachoma cases are high. After intense research, it was established that although the disease has been termed as incurable in these nations, it was established that it can indeed be prevented. According……………….
