Socialization is a process through which a person acquires or inherits customs, ideologies, or norms. The socialization process plays a very critical role in the development of both men and women and focuses on a wide range of areas such politics, stereotypes, economics, and ideals about races. Sexual socialization allows young people to gain sexual knowledge, norms, skills, attitudes, and other expectations that strengthen sexual relationships. The socialization process starts at childhood, increases during the adolescence stage, and ends in adulthood.
