Your IV is a race; minority is just a category of your IV. Be specific about sampling– note that we learn several types of sampling such as simple random, systematic, cluster, etc. Also be specific about sample size.
Data collection techniques is rough. If you plan to conduct an interview, you must clarify questions you will ask to measure police brutality. For your final paper, you will need a bit of work for method section.
