For this assignment, you will assume the role of a healthcare administrator in a health system in your geographic region. You have been asked to assist HR with the development of a recruitment plan for Primary Care Physicians to staff the system’s outpatient clinics. HR needs you to contribute to the project by providing the following details, so they can develop a formal recruitment plan:
Recruitment sources – explain where good candidates come from; include high-yield and low-yield sources.
Recruitment strategies – explain how to best reach candidates in your area (cold-calling, events, advertisements, etc.)
Market competition – explain what supply and demand look like in your area. Who is competing for the same physicians? Where are physicians gravitating to for employment?
