Nice post! I think what really caught my eye about your post was your informative comment about your past experience with your middle school friend. When you said that your friend would say that he sees “little people by their bed”, it does seem that your friend may have been experiencing schizophrenia or extremely bad nightmares that seemed realistic. The part that makes me smile the most is that you were a nonjudgmental friend and went to observe the “little people by his bed” with him, no matter what you thought in your head. Even after you observed and didn’t see anything, you asked him for more details like, “what are they saying?” or “Where are they?” As you were still trying to be understanding and patient with him. I think that makes you an amazing friend (glad you all are still friends) and thank you for sharing that beautiful friendship story!
