Woodrow Wilson was a man who was fully aware of the relationship between politics and administration. However, according to his dichotomy of the two, he was keen to point out that the two had to operate independent of each other so as to have a corruption free state. In as much as the will of the people had to be done so as to provide the people with better services, the politicians had to stay away from the administrators and their duties for there to be a fair country. In the case that the dichotomy was well put into use, there would be less room for errors in the administration and political dockets. From a critical point of view, according to the political-administration dichotomy made by Wilson, it can be said that the administration is the watchdog of the political system.
