Introduction: Education is one of the primary responsibilities of both State and local government in the United States. There are various policies that have been enacted to improve the quality of education in US. Some of the effectiveness includes the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. The act was established to reduce educational inequalities that are found across the country. Its objective was to improve opportunities for the poor people and disadvantaged children.
