Podcasts and Wikis
What are your thoughts about Podcasts and Wikis? FYI, regarding postcasts, whatever your area of interest you will find podcasts out there covering it; and podcast portals such as iPodder, Podomatic, and Apple’s iTunes offer convenient hubs to find, sample and subscribe to podcasts of interest. And regarding wikis, they are perhaps the ultimate vehicle for mass collaboration, the most famous example, of course, being Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia. I remember reading somewhere that Wikipedia reported that it had a staggering 5M+ English language articles in its database. There is I think a grand total, including all Wikipedias, of over 38M articles in over 250 different languages. Fascinating.
