PHILOSOPHY 3040: THE ETHICS OF BUSINESS LEADERSHIP

FILM ANALYSIS View one of the films on the list provided, all of which deal with some aspect of business ethics. Write an analysis of the film, using concepts we are studying in this course. For example, you might address the kinds of ethical reasoning you see taking place, or assess one or more of the ethical dilemmas the film portrays. You might write about its relationship to one of the overall topics we are studying, such as the nature of capitalism, corporations, business ethics related to consumers, the environment, or the workplace. What I am looking for is analysis and reflection that displays understanding of what we are studying. So the most important task is not to spend a lot of time summarizing the film (though that is part of the paper) but developing a thesis related to the ethical aspects of the film and demonstrating it through careful reasoning.
