From this article; The Perils of Patriarchy For men as well as women, I agree with the premise of the reading which in an undeniable way shows in length that men are the ones highly involved in violence as compared to women.  The most interesting thing from the reading is that in the United States, 66 of the 67 mass murders committed between the years of 1982 and 2013, were carried out by men; meaning that only one mass murder was done by a woman.

            This is further proven by the fact that across the Unites States on an everyday life whenever there is a story in the newspaper about a shooting or violence, majority of these scenarios happen to be carried out by men….
