Performing organizational diagnostics is essential to understand the position of a company concerning each category. It is a creative method that involves the participation of all the employees to invoke the unknown information or problems faced by employees. Also, employees’ feedback is vital to understand the need of the employees and to retain stability. By providing the survey question, the organization can guess what each employee thing about the company.

As per the questionnaires provided in the discussion post, I have calculated the scores for the organization where I work currently. Below are the results:

Family Oriented– 5

Relationships – 3.6

Helpful mechanisms – 2.8

Structure – 2.8

Leadership – 2.2

Rewards – 2

Purpose – 1.8

Attitude for change – 1.6

As per my diagnostic’s response, it is evident that the family category is the most problematic area for my company. To promote family values, the company may encourage family-oriented events occasionally. This would give the employees a chance to interact with each other family and eventually build strong interpersonal relationships among employees. Also, providing daycare facilities is beneficial for both the company and employees. On the one hand, employees would feel safe to leave their children closer to them and hence encourage people to stay in office for long hours, which would improve productivity. The employees would not have to go their work in between and rush during traffic hours to reach their children’s daycare.

On the other hand, the most favorable diagnostics category for my company is that it is tolerable for change. With growing technology, it is difficult to maintain the same working standard. To cope up with the latest tech products and to meet the deliverables, change is mandatory. And my company permits to change the standards as and when required after the required approvals. Also, it makes the work environment competitive as the employees get challenges with the new standards.
