APPLYING ETHICS AND CULTURAL COMPETENCE-WEEK 5 ADVANCED STAT CLASS-

1. In Unit 4, you proposed a program evaluation design for a program at your current or previous work, internship, or volunteer site. here it is

\”The program involve conducting online sales analysis for the organization. I would conduct an investigation in order to get a deeper comprehension of the dynamics of the online shopping business. Customers over the age of 17 who had made purchases from the company in the last year will be contacted by phone and asked a number of questions including their perspectives on shopping online, levels of trust, fears about fraud, and so on.Dependent variables that to be examined: The sum of all dollars spent on purchases made online. Determining how often do you engage in online retail therapy. On the other hand independent variable include Age, gender, classification based on financial Stability, and use of social media. In order to arrive at the findings, we first need to conduct a chi-square test of attribute independence and then a correlation analysis. The major purpose behind the development of this was to investigate whether or not people beyond the age of 30 made internet purchases at the same rate as those from younger generations. Also, it is important to determine whether or not there is a gender-based difference in the way decisions are made (Mele & Russo-Spena, 2022). It is also important to answer the question whether there is any kind of admission requirement that has to be met before those with lower earnings may take advantage of the sales that are offered on the internet.A study is carried with the goal of gaining insight into the ways in which individuals\’ behaviors vary depending on factors such as their age, gender, and level of involvement in social media. Only those who had access to the internet were considered for inclusion in the research, since the major emphasis of the investigation was on shopping online. A questionnaire and a survey were both sent via various social media platforms, and contacts were urged to take part in the study by providing their responses (Cox & Nachman, 2020). This is not a random sample since the researchers is supposed to use their own judgment to choose the participants, and we only considered those who showed interest in taking part in the study. Since a larger group would compensate for any bias produced by a non-random selection method, a sample size of over a thousand persons should be selected as the population from which to draw results. The results of this survey may be used to generate inferences regarding the degree to which individuals under and over the age of 30 are used to making purchases online. A ratio scale to be used for questions pertaining to demographics such as age range and income, while a few questions were of the Yes/No kind, and the rest questions made use of a four- or five-point scale strongly disagree to strongly agree. The major objective of this study is to investigate the perspectives and actions of customers in respect to making purchases over the internet. There are questioned on a variety of themes, including whether or not they felt secure purchasing more costly gadgets like mobile phones over the internet, and whether or not they felt comfortable spending only a modest amount on products when shopping online. The documentation included both optimistic and pessimistic outlooks

Respond to student Maxine \”In the text book, Grinnell, Gabor & Unrau (2016), it is important to uphold the code of ethics to ensure that the participants are informed about the research and to avoid legal consequences. Therefore, it is important as a counselor their established ground rules, and clear understanding of expectations. It is important to explain to the client the rules and how confidentiality applies. After doing so, it is important we ask the client to reflect on what was said and if they have any questions. A well informed client will be able to make a clear and decisive decisions. It is also imperative that a written informed consent is received. Because the evaluation involves people, this informed consent is vital to process of the report. As the program manager of the program, it is important that clinical research and practices be an important factor. Another ethical standard would be to ensure the participants personal information is not breached. It needs to be established that by participating in this study it does not cause any undue harm and that confidentiality is strictly abided by (NASW, 2012). Another ethical concern, is to ensure do no harm. We want to ensure we are not bringing any harm, such as physical injury and psychological harm, such as damage reputation, self-esteem, or emotional well-being (Cheryl Holm-Hansen). During the course of the evaluation, I would want to ensure the study is remaining course. I would want to ensure the safety of all the participants. In addition, it is important for the researcher to remain conscious of his or her biases. It important for the researcher to be aware of the profession’s values, principles and the matter they practice (NASW, 2012).\”
