Read “Reconceptualizing Program Outcomes” and “Leveling EBP Content for Undergraduate Nursing Students,” located in the study materials. These articles will provide you with a better understanding of issues within curriculum development.
Select an issue within curriculum development that is of interest to you and write a paper of 1,000-1,250 words on the issue, discussing its effect and relevance to nursing, staff or patient education. Include the following in your paper:
Describe the selected issue.
Describe why this issue is a problem at your place of employment.
Describe at least two proposed strategies to resolve the issue.
Use three to five scholarly, peer-reviewed resources, published within the last 5 years, that are not among the materials provided in the course, particularly the two sources referenced in this assignment.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
