Mythologies of several cultures
We have discussed mythologies of several cultures (Greek, Egyptian, Mesopotamian) and some of the major characters in each. Choose two of those mythic systems and a male/female couple from each of the two systems you chose (for example, Zeus/Hera from the Greeks or Osiris/Isis from the Egyptians or Tammuz/Inanna from the Mesopotamians, etc. — there are other possibilities as well).
Compare and contrast the two couples and their stories to show what they suggest about their respective cultures’ attitudes toward man/woman relationships. This should be a standard academic essay of five paragraphs and about 750 words.
