Ethics describes the general code of values or moral principles that are perceived by society as either bad or good (Glass, 2020). The moral principles can equally be conceptualized in the context of being right or wrong and normally considered partial or impartial by various individuals in a given community. Advancement in the level of technology has translated into modern and most effective options for executing operations. Nevertheless, there exists a mild strategy or policy that directly governs ethical behaviors thereby contributing immensely to difficulties in ensuring high standards of ethical conduct in the society (Balogun & Zuva, 2017). This has resulted in unethically governed and controlled organizations that hardly consider and observe social factors making it very cumbersome for employees, customers, and other concerned stakeholders to engage in commercial activities.
The articles analyzed expounds explicitly on different grounds. The concepts acquired from chapter 14 are highly related to the information from the articles. Tse et al. (2017) mention that information technology experts experience several challenges that are associated with ethics and that are very complex to comprehend or handle. This is a very significant component that has been featured in the articles analyzed and it stands to act as a critical similarity among the articles. According to Balogun and Zuva (2017), IT experts must be very emotionally sensitive and uphold a high degree of ethics when dealing with various parties in an organization. This is likely to define the future of ethical management in information systems and equally the scope of societal norms. Issues relating to the lack of sufficient awareness of ethical practices, existence prejudices, and judgmental mindset form a clear ground for not executing the utmost certain requirements of ethics in an organization.
Every article provides that ethics are the same for all stakeholders depending on which party or group is addressed. For instance, the ethical standards and practices that must be exercised on customers are the same (Glass, 2020). One article provides that Integrity is a critical component of ethics and it has been highlighted in the article to contribute to honesty and subsequent trust. It is very substantial to embrace honesty as it holds the quality of service delivery that is exactly required by the employees or agents of an organization. Stahl (2019) provides that ethics is a shared responsibility and not a one-person task. Therefore, it is important to enlighten people to employ various techniques of upholding ethics to ascertain the reliability and effectiveness of organizational performance.
Moreover, the competitive advantage of an organization embracing ethics is likely to improve thus giving the best result in industrial engagements (Tse et al., 2017). However, one article gives a different view on ethics concerning how they create challenges to the effective management of information technology. For instance, software privacy might translate into monopolized firms to continue to suffer the effects of monopoly since most of the factors that contribute to the operational methods of the monopoly firms are concealed. Balogun and Zuva (2017) though continues to affirm the significance of promoting data privacy for not only organizations but equally the individuals transacting with the business.
Conclusively, the lessons from the articles are very close to those acquired in the chapter fourteen. For example, the digitalization of concepts in the organization needs to observe the fundamental principles of ethics (Tse et al., 2017). The organization’s management team needs to monitor effective adherence to ethics to enhance the efficiency of the commercial enterprise. This constant monitoring also ensures that there is no exploitation of any involved party.

During the occurrence of incidents, the managers of organizations faced many issues under high percentage. And the priority of the incident is to pursue the end of it that indicates the efficient information that can relieve pressure from the head of the organization and the managers (Luo & et al., 2017). Ethics is a type of philosophy that mainly deals wi the determination to analyze what are good deeds and what is wrong. To behave things ethically the organization and individual must have set some goals and principals to achieve what is necessary.
Most of the believe that ethical behaviors are completely required to process the good and greatest amount of people’s choice and perspective. Depending on the ethics of the organization the information technology can be managed and organized. And every employee and department of the organization has to obey and acquire the rules and regulations to have better outcomes of the business and its strategical performances (ROSS & et al., 2017).
My Learnings From The Article
As per the article, I have understood the importance of ethical rights, roles, and responsibilities of the organizations and employees (ROSS & et al., 2017). And have also learned the different possibilities and occurrences of issues and its prevention methods by following the better evolvement process and schedules.
