Each student will come prepared for Public Issues Day with a paper (one page) containing an outline of 2 major talking points they wish to bring up. Papers will be submitted via CABVAS, but students should have a copy with them the day of the event. Late papers will not be accepted. In addition, the student should be prepared to offer his or her opinions on their talking points in class. Note, this is an in-class event, therefore, points will be lost if you do not attend. A third to a haft credit of points will be awarded for those who only attend Public Issues day but neglect to turn in a paper dependent upon their contributions to the event.
