Choose an external component area and develop a ten (10) to fifteen (15) minute video
presentation on a component. Define the component, give examples of how it works and
could not work within the department and on the national landscape. Talk about the
importance of this component within the entire university, athletics overall and the
institutional department. Lastly, give your thoughts on the direction you think it may go
in the future or needs to. You can give examples from other universities of how it has
worked well or not. You can also come from personal experience within athletics and if
the component has affected you.
