We need to remember, nothing is never final when it comes to people. Our world is constantly evolving and changing, so people are going to do the same and adapt to our surroundings and situations. This is another reason why it is important to keep a close eye on the source’s publishing date. The textbook (GCU, 2020) matched what I knew about finding objective, accurate, authoritative, current, and relevant research. Critiquing research is not my forte, however, it is necessary in order to find pieces to use for our own research and capstone projects. I can feel uneasy at times if the topic is not in my field of study. I am not an expert in all fields, one needs to critique the parts of work that are in their field. A peer review assesses the quality of the research or study.It is relevant to the integrity of a scholarly literature by keeping unbiased opinions out of the review, while making clear and constructive notes and recommendations.
