Assignment Instructions: Learners will create a detailed comparative chart or table that breaks down at least four (4) Leadership models (e.g., Transformational, Transactional, Situational, Servant, etc) and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses in the context of change management.
This comparison should include:
An outline of the model’s essential characteristics that define it. This section should provide a clear understanding of how each model operates and its primary focus as well as strengths and weaknesses.
Explain how each leadership model can be applied in managing organizational change.
Discuss the model\’s effectiveness in dealing with transitions, uncertainty, and employee resistance.
Explain how each model impacts team motivation and leadership during change.
Identify current trends in leadership and their effectiveness in change scenarios.
Identify and discuss current trends in leadership, particularly those that are effective in change scenarios.
Evaluate how modern leadership trends compare to traditional models in terms of handling organizational change.
Submit an Excel Worksheet, Google Sheet, Word doc with a table, or Canva page containing your assignment and the following requirements:
The table or chart should ideally cover each leadership model in a row or column format. Each model should have corresponding entries for key features, strengths, weaknesses, application to change management, impact on team motivation and leadership, and current trends in leadership.
Include at least two (2) scholarly sources to substantiate your ideas, outside of assigned readings for the course.
Ensure the chart or table is well-organized, easy to read, and visually appealing.
