Among those are verbal communication skills, handcuffs, firearms, batons, etc. The threat posed by members of the public can be difficult to assess. How does a law enforcement agency create and enforce a proper protocol to ensure the ethical application of force when necessary?

8. Consider again the philosophical ethical approaches of Consequentialism, Regularianism, and Deontology. How would you be able to apply these philosophical ethical approaches to different situations as a public servant? Can you apply different philosophies consistently?
