Both the “How a Bill Becomes a Law” and the “Smith Filibuster” are fairly accurate (if overly dramatic). Discuss the implications of each in terms of meeting legislative goals. How can parties use the barriers depicted to help their own legislative agendas. Finally, is there worth (for American citizens) in having these barriers?
