I hope that you enjoy the movie. I am sure you will be able to see many communication needs among the various characters in the movie. It is neat to see how different things stand out to different people, so this will be an interesting discussion. Be sure to use communication concepts from our textbooks to describe what you see in the movie. Talk about how you relate to the communication examples you discuss.

If you use a direct quote from a movie, include a timestamp in the APA Style in-text citation, just as you would include a page number. A citation for a direct quote might look like this: (Kendrick, 2008, 1:13:20). To cite a movie without a direct quote, it would look like this: (Kendrick, 2008). You cite and reference the primary contributor, which might include a producer and director, depending on the motion picture. See p. 209 of the Publication Manual.
