In this assessment, you will evaluate the mission, vision, values, strategies, and culture of an organization to identify opportunities for growth and alignment with its stated objectives. This analysis will serve as the foundation for proposing actionable strategies for organizational improvement and change.
Assessment Preparation
Review your SWOT analysis from Week 1 and incorporate any faculty feedback, as appropriate, to prepare for this assessment.
Assessment Deliverable
Create a 8- to 10-slide presentation using the provided template, analyzing the key components of mission, vision, values, strategies, and cultures of your selected organization as the foundation for organizational change. In your presentation:
• Analyze how the organization’s mission, vision, and values can be leveraged to determine strategies to achieve organizational goals. If these are not well defined, suggest how to clarify and integrate them into the organization’s action plan. In your analysis:
• Identify 3 strategies the organization can implement to communicate its mission, vision, and values more clearly to employees, customers, and the public.
• Justify why improvement strategies would benefit the organization, and directly relate your justification to its mission, vision, and values.
• Identify 2 strategies this organization is implementing to grow and gain a larger market share, and explain how effective you think the strategies are for their growth and development.
• Describe the culture of this organization, including purpose, vision, expectations, leadership, inclusion, interaction, and growth.
• Evaluate the alignment between the organization’s strategies for growth and its stated mission, values, and culture.
• Summarize the SWOT analysis you completed in Week 1 as the basis for future change and explain the most important organizational needs that must be addressed.
• Summarize the key findings from your overall analysis of the organization and explain any patterns that emerged in understanding the organization’s current strategies and culture.
Include detailed speaker notes and images to support the content on your slides with a reference page.
