Request to interview another member of the Washburn community about diversity
Remember the background of this person must be different than your own
Meet with this individual to discuss diversity
Ask this person to define diversity
Ask if s/he considers Washburn to be diverse. Why or Why not?
Discuss TWO additional diversity-related topics of your choice
PAPER:
Summarize the information you read in chapter 11 and online—discuss the following:

In your opinion, what is the most important part of the WU diversity statement?
Do you support the WU diversity statement? Why or Why not?
Discuss the individual you chose to meet with:
What is the name of the individual you met with?
What makes this individual’s background different than your own?
Why did you choose to meet with this person in particular?
Summarize your meeting—discuss the following:
Review the individuals answers to your FOUR questions
Do you agree or disagree with what this person said? Why or why not?
