This is a group assignment, I\’m responsible for section 1, . I\’ll need about 5 slides, 1 coversheet, 1 with the references and 3. the chosen organizations are HP and IBM.  

This is a Collaborative Learning Community (CLC) assignment. 

The purpose of this assignment is to compare two different organizations within an industry in regard to workplace health, safety, and culture, as well as making recommendations to promote leader-employee and employee-customer relationships.

Create a PowerPoint presentation with 15-20 slides, including the cover slide, introduction, conclusion, and references, addressing the following questions.

  1. Compare two different industry organizations (one less than 1,000 employees and a Fortune 500 company) and the steps taken to ensure employee and customer safety during a serious health situation.
  2. Explain the OSHA Act, general duty clause, and industry standards for both companies and how these organizations have met those expectations.
  3. Discuss the impact of unsafe conditions to the organization, the employees, and the customers. Make recommendations for workplace health and safety, including the security of the building and personnel.
  4. Compare how the culture of these organizations creates an ethical and accepting workplace for all generations, including how the Christian worldview impacts the actions and behaviors that promote leader-employee and employee-customer civility with compassion, justice, and concern for the common good.
