Hotels are very public places, and often security situations arise. Most hotels – particularly smaller hotels – do not have their own security force, but rely on local police. It is in the best interest of the hotel to maintain very good relationships with the police department and their officers. If you were operating a hotel, what would you do to create a good relationship with the police?

Building relationship between hotels and police
Hotel professionals often ignore issues of safety and security till they encounter a crisis. This neglect translates to a non-relationship between hotels and the police department until a safety issue arise. The attitude could result in lack of cooperation from both sides escalating possible damages on the hotel business.To avoid the reputations, I would build positive relationships through the following practices………………………
