Why Code Of Ethics Is Important In Hospitality Industry?
In the hospitality industry, all the managers of the different departments take decisions instantly without knowing the impact of the decision on the industry. Therefore, it’s the code of ethics which helps the managers to make decisions which would work for the growth of the industry. Ethics and morality are the most important and integral elements which one should keep in mind while doing business.
For this assignment, you will research ethics in the realm of the hospitality industry. You may use one of the topics listed below or you choose your own topic. Research is to be focused on the topic you choose.
Guidelines
A link is posted on ulearn which provides assistance on how to write research papers. This paper is to be a minimum of 5 complete pages (MLA Standard; 1 inch margins, size 12, and Times New Roman font). Include a minimum of 5 sources (Do not use Wikipedia or ask.com). In-text citations and a works cited page (works cited must follow MLA format) must be included to support your research. All papers are to be in 3rd person, essay format. Follow MLA guidelines for a paper without a cover page. You may use bullets but they should be kept to a minimum and must follow the proper MLA format for using bullets. Diagrams and charts/graphs may also be used but must listed as appendices at the end of the paper (these will not be included in the minimum page requirement). Papers will be submitted via turnitin on the designated due date (see syllabus for policies on late submissions). See rubric for grading guidelines.
