This is a story that starts off with a tragic fire accident that claimed the lives of 146 workers. The fire occurred at the triangle factory in the year 1991. Most of the employees in the factory were young women immigrants. The fire occurred at the end of the day’s work when most of the employees were preparing to leave the premises. The fire destroyed a better part of the ninth floor of the building. Most of the workers in that area were severely burnt; there were no sufficient escape roots. The fire fighters were able to recover the bodies by midnight.
