- Select a publicly traded company (per the instructions in the Week – 1 Post your introduction) I chose Apple INC.
- Review all the listed videos or PDF guides. These videos/PDFs will help you obtain the financial statements for your selected company. (attached)

- Any investment analysis will begin with a review of the company\\\’s Historical financial performance. The financial statements form the basis of facts for the company, and those facts contribute to the investment recommendation. For this assignment, you will use the Mergent Market Atlas database through the University of Arizona Global Campus Library to retrieve 5 years of financial statements (i.e., the income statement and balance sheet) with 5 years of common size statements (i.e., the common size income statement and the common size balance sheet), as well as 5 years of growth rates for the income statement and balance sheet, for your chosen publicly traded company. You should use the same company you picked for your Post Your Introduction discussion forum. The videos/PDFs listed under the Prepare tab will explain how to obtain your company’s financial information.

- Using the Mergent Market Atlas database through the University of Arizona Global Campus Library,
- Find your chosen company within the Mergent Market Atlas database.
- Follow the instructions in the videos/PDFs listed under the Prepare tab to retrieve the 5 most recent years of historical financial statements with common size ratios (income statements, balance sheets) and 5 most recent years of growth rates on the income statements and balance sheets.
