We know that healthcare delivery is more effective when members of the team work together. It has proven (by scientific evidence) to improve healthcare outcomes. Research also shows that when we learn about each other’s roles while in school we are even better at providing care. This is true because you learn about these roles before you start your career. Before COVID there were many occasions were students participated in IPE learning activities. There will not be any of these opportunities in 2020. We will have to demonstrate this concept in other ways.
